Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced an immediate increase in the national minumum wage, it was announced yesterday afteroon.
In a press conference yesterday, the PSOE leader said that the governement had come to an agreement that would continue to see increases in the minimum wage, with an aim to bring the salary to 60% of the average salary paid across the country.
In the same session he also confirmed that the target for 70% of the population being vaccinated has been hit, also announcing that 90% of those aged over 40 are now fully vaccinated. He said policy now would turn to recovery as well as increasing the number of those who have received a full dose of coronavirus vaccine.
