More Heart Doctors at Torrevieja Hospital

The A&E Department at Torrevieja Hospital has reinforced the physical presence of specialists from the Cardiology Service on Saturday mornings, with the aim of anticipating and treating patients with heart issues, in coordination with the doctors in the emergency observation area. Acute heart failure is a highly prevalent condition, directly related to age, and a frequent reason for local resident visiting the Emergency Department, as well as for admission and readmission.
