A two year-old baby boy has been killed by his mother in Bigastro. The woman is also accused of abusing his twin brother during what police believe to be ‘systematic assaults’. The 32 year-old mother called the emergency services to report that one of her children was unconscious, after hitting his head. Paramedics were unable to revive him and alerted the police due to the number of injuries.
The Albanian woman, who was alone with the children, has been arrested without bail and her surviving son is being looked after by his Grandmother.
