The bodies of a man and a woman have been found buried in a ravine in Elche. They were handcuffed and had duct tape over their eyes, nose and mouth. It is believed the bodies have been there for around three years.
The shallow gave was located in a rural area on the outskirts of the city, in the Barranco del Grifo and was discovered by a dg walker. The identities are still not known and officers are working on the assumption that the deaths were related to criminal gang activity, maybe the settling of a debt or score.
