The Ayuntamiento de Alicante has approved the construction of the Urbanova cycle path.
Costing €4.4 million, the 2.4km route will run between Avda. de Elche to Urbanova, incluing a connection to the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
Including a linear park, two roundabouts and a footbridge over the railway, the route is expected to become a reference point for the area.
