Pilar de la Horadada’s Councillor for Health has denounced the fact that the medical centres in the Mil Palmeras and Pinar de Campoverde urbanisations have been left without any face-to-face medical cover. Residents are having to wait 30 days for a doctor’s appointment and there is no-one to answer queries on the phone.
She has formally requested that the management of the University Hospital of Torrevieja, urgently covers the service as the “significant decrease in health care is affecting the well-being of the people of Pilar de la Horadada.”
