The Department of the Environment of the Orihuela City Council has celebrated the Day of the Tree of the Valencian Community with the planting of 93 specimens of large trees in the area known as the ‘Mill of the City’.
This planting forms part of the project for the regeneration of this area on the left bank of the Segura River, which will become a space for environmental education and a protected wetland space.
