The City Council of Orihuela has suspended the terrace tax across the municipality. This is the tax bars, restaurants and hotels pay to have chairs and tables outside.
The measure will be backdated from 1st January and run until 30th June this year and has been attributed to the economic difficulties brought about by the pandemic.
