A letter sent to the partner of a father who is believed to have murdered his two children in Tenerife did not contain any reference to the two children.
The claim was made during investigative hearings at Güímar court yesterday.
During the hearing, Tomás Gimeno partner said she was handed a letter on the day of the disappearances which she was told to open in the evening. She opened it shortly afterwards and found it contained a farewell letter and €6,200 in cash. However it did not mention either Anna or Olivia.
An international arrest warrant has been issued for Tomás Gimeno on suspicion of the murder of his two children.
Meanwhile the Canarian Government has confirmed it is requesting an extension to the time a search vessel is available in the area, as the mission to locate One-year-old Anna and her father continues.
