People Smuggling Ring Uncovered

A total of seven boat ‘captains’ have been arrested by the National Police in Cartagena, accused of smuggling migrants from North Africa into Spain. The suspects are all Algerian and one of them is a minor. Their unsafe boats would make the journey of 120 nautical miles from Algeria to the Costa Cálida full of illegal migrants.
