The Civil Guard in Murcia has arrested a dentist and is investigating two others over alleged scams at dental clinics in San Pedro del Pinatar, Pilar de la Horadada and Murcia.
So far 46 victims have been identified, with more than 100,000 euros being stolen. Police were alerted by a customer who claimed he’d been the victim of a scam after the clinic took out two loans in his name to pay for the same dental treatment. Similar scams were uncovered at the other two clinics in the group.
