Four people from a telecoms company based in the Province of Murcia are being investigated by the Guardia for illegally broadcasting football matches to bars, restaurants and individual customers.
The complaint was filed by La Liga for the relaying of subscription matches over private internet networks. Officers uncovered 14 hospitality venues using the pirated broadcasts.
The company has not been named, but the case has been referred to San Javier court, giving some idea of the locality.
