Torrevieja’s resident population has risen by 900 people since January. It appears that that increase is largely due to the number of Ukrainian’s fleeing to the town and they are now the second largest group with a population of 4,596. Despite the increase, the number of Brits officially living in the town has dropped by 423, according to the latest figures released by the town hall. The council noted that since Brexit the number of Britons in the municipality has fallen.
