
Polling data ahead of the regional elections in Catalonia suggests a drop in support for separatist parties, with the regional PSOE party gaining the most support.
The latest CIS survey suggests support for the independence parties has dropped to the benefit of both PSC and Vox, when compared to electoral figures from the 2017 vote.
Meanwhile nearly a quarter of all those summoned to help manage the regional election next Sunday have appealed against their involvement. Over 20,000 members of the public who have been drafted in to man polling stations have requested an appeal against them assisting due to the coronavirus.
Electoral officials have said that the regional Government must now present a solution to issue, to allow the vote to go ahead.
