Robbers Caught by Off-Duty Cop

Two good Samaritans who rushed to help an elderly couple being robbed in the street, turned out to be an off-duty national police officer and his 22-year-old son. The men had been at home in Gran Alacant when they heard screaming and shouting. The couple were surrounded by teenagers who had knives, but the thugs fled as the men approached. The men gave chase and with back up the youngsters were arrested and the weapons seized.
