Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and his coalition partner Pablo Iglesias are to hold talks next week in an effort to resolve differences that have grown between both parties.
The government have been under internal pressure following on from disagreements over policy, with some members of the executive openly criticising other members over comments made.
The PSOE and Unidos Podemos leaders are to meet next week following on from a brief formal meeting yesterday where the pair discussed the ongoing political debates surrounding the General Council of the Judiciary.
Yesterday afternoon whilst addressing the upper house in the Cortes, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that he was satisfied with the functioning of the first year of government.
