A scooter thief was caught red-handed after its GPS tracker pinpointed his location. The renter of the vehicle reported the theft to the hire company, which was able to see exactly where it was.
Police then paid a visit to the 43 year-old robber who claimed the scooter had been abandoned in Albir square. The man loaded it into his car but failed to report his find and so was arrested for theft and the scooter returned.
