A team of Civil Guard divers has been searching for a 50-year-old man whose red Audi ended up in the sea in Punta Prima. Officers went down the cliff to the car to check the condition of the driver and possible occupants, but the vehicle was empty. The engine was still running with the lights on and there was a mobile phone inside – but no sign of the driver inside or out in the surrounding water.
The family of the driver have has been notified but the whereabouts of the father of two remains unknown.
