Businesses in the Balaeric Islands have issued a warning over a lack of seasonal workers.
Concerns over affordable rental properties have been raised, with many firms saying people are unable to afford the average rent for properties in the islands due to rocketing demand from tourism.
According to recent data, people are paying upwards of €500 per month for a bed, with the average price of an apartment for the holiday season rising to €3000 per month.
Now business associations in the region have called on the regional authorities to introduce measures to ensure there is enough affordable housing stock for seasonal workers.
