Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism – Reyes Maroto – has said that she expects Spain will soon no longer require vaccination certificates from tourists outside of the European Union, meaning those who are unvaccinated against covid-19 will be able to enter Spain with a negative test result.
During an interview yesterday, Ms. Maroto said that the government was working on the new legislative text that would amend the current entry rules ahead of the summer season.
Whilst no date for the change in the rules has been set, the minister said it may be within “a matter of days”.
