Teenager Dies on San Pedro Beach

A late night of socialising on the beach turned to tragedy after an 18 year-old Spanish boy died on San Pedro beach. The holidaymaker was part of around a dozen youths gathered on El Mojon beach at 2am, when some of them decided to climb a wooden lifeguard tower. However, the combined weight was too much and it collapsed, injuring several people. The victim was hit on the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
