The regional health authority has confirmed that Tenerife has moved to Level 2 coronavirus restrictions, joining Gran Canaria, El Hierro and Lanzarote.
Average case numbers continue to fall on the island, according to data released by the ministry, which has resulted in the loosening of restrictions on the island.
Whilst the curfew remains at 11pm, groups of 6 can meet and hospitality can again reopen indoors with a reduced capacity.
Fuerteventura, La Gomera & La Palma remain on level 1 restrictions.
The next review of the islands status is to take place on the 11th.
