Tonnes of Copper Cables Stolen

A 51 year-old Spanish electrician has been arrested for allegedly stealing 1.8 tonnes of copper cables from local urbanisations across the Alicante Province. The thief used his experience to seal cables linking empty properties to the electricity network and the cable was then sold for a profit.
