Unemployed to Tidy Green Spaces

Orihuela has hired 80 unemployed workers to clean the coast and villages. The workers will be given the tasks of clearing and keeping green spaces clean over the coming months until November. The employment initiative aims to reduce the numbers claiming unemployment benefit and encourage local people to work within their local community. The workers will be divided into teams and allocated to specific areas.
