The Vega Baja once again leads the way with 32 blue quality flags, 27 of them awarded to its beaches and 5 to its marinas. The Valencian Community remains the region with the most blue flag beaches with 139. The award takes into consideration the condition of the water as well as the beach, the provision of beach services and the safety of bathers.
