A group representing victims of dictator Francisco Franco have lodged a formal request for prosecutors to investigate if a crime has been committed at a rally held last weekend by far-right party Vox.
The complaint centres on a song by Los Meconios which references the start of the Spanish Civil War in 1936.
Lyrics from the song include references to being fascist, and comparisons to the current government and the left leaning government that was in power before the civil war.
Performers at the event were also seen making jokes about sexual assault, feminism and LGBT groups.
A spokesperson for Vox denied that the song was meant to promote fascism.
