Woman Jailed for Attacking Doctor

A female patient who assaulted a family doctor in a health centre in Orihuela has been sentenced to four months in prison and placed on a restraining order. The events date back to 26th August, when the woman asked for a new prescription. However, when refused by the doctor the woman became aggressive. She began verbally insulting the medic, attacking and throwing things at him until other staff intervened.
