Guardia Civil officers rescued a woman on Saturday, who had jumped into the sea off the rocky natural pool area of the Juan Aparicio Seafront in Torrevieja.
The two officers had to get into the water to help the injured woman. Local Police also arrived at the scene and the officers worked together to make sure everyone made it over the steep rocks back to safety.
The woman had head injuries suffered in the fall and was transferred by a SAMU ambulance to Torrevieja University Hospital where she was admitted for treatment.
